I was very impressed by the solid look and feel of this Samsung Series 7 Chronos and its powerful display leaves nothing to question. This is for sure a great Samsung product. The Aluminum finish is very classy and gives this laptop a very solid and professional feel.

Stunning and Sleek, Lighter than a Mac and more productive, the Chronos Series 7 is a well designed machine using the best of cutting edge technologies to give you optimal and ingenious performance! If you have ever owned a Samsung product you are familiar with their quality and design. The Chronos 7 is actually just like it’s cousins in all of Samsung’s electronics, it’s awesome.

Now if you wanted to know what makes this baby tick check out the specs. 6GBs of optimal Memory, i7 Intel Processor, 0.94 x 14.3 x 9.4 in in dimensions and the most solid feel and construction i have seen in a laptop in a long time. This Sammy’s got some kick where other’s don’t! I read some other reviews like Cnet’s and Engadget’s and I have to wonder where these guys get off? The Chronos is an elegant and impressive innovative laptop from Samsung, give me a break guys! Do you guys all just copy cat each other or what? All I hear about is the mouse being funky and not once did we have an issue.

I read Cnet’s review and I have to disagree with the person who did the review on the Chronos. I don’t know how anyone can actually compare two different lines in laptop technology and say Samsung was attempting to compete with Apple products. Which goes to say, you need to be an unbiased reviewer before you actually review anything. You can’t sit there and compare one device in a class by itself like the Series 7 Chronos with what sits on your coffee table at home, like I am sure Scott Stein did.

I won’t even touch on Engadget’s review, these guys wait for Cnet to do theirs on the Chronos 7 before trying their own luck!

This is a Windows OS Notebook, if and when should Samsung come out with their own OS, and develop a line of computers to run solely on their own OS, then you can compare them to Apple’s MacBook, but in this instance, I believe Samsung was just trying to stand out among the clones of Laptops and Notebooks out there, and I also believe this Samsung Series 7 Chronos 700Z5A is just that, a stand alone betterment in the world of Laptops!

A powerful Intel® Core™ i7 Processor runs this dream machine from Samsung, along with a host of excellent other components, like a 750GB Hard Drive, 6gb memory bank, a nice 15.6″ Display and a very sleek and responsive over-sized mouse pad. I didn’t have any issues using it at all, maybe the reviewer on Cnet should have washed his fingers first before using the mouse pad to do his review. I don’t know, but with what we saw and for a whole week, we had no issues at all.

The series 7 Chronos has a sleek creative and easy to use slot-loading DVD-RW drive with a dependable single 2.0 USB port on the right hand side of this awesome laptop. On the left is a very easy to find mini-VGA, with HDMI and two very useful USB 3.0 ports along with a business minded and school minded Kensington lock, perfect for securing this beautiful Series 7, it also has the normal 3.5mm headphone/microphone jacks and a very impressive and creative hinged RJ45 connector that can be useful to those who need it.

Another good point is the Ethernet port which is also creatively hinged to allow you to use a full-sized Ethernet connector even though the laptop has such a skinny profile. An easy to find SD slot is located at the very front of this Series 7.

The Chronos also supports a bass sub-woofer speaker system, well incorporated high proficiency cooling vents and an easily removable panel for quick and easy access to the system memory, which makes this one exceptional Samsung Product

The Samsung Series 7 out performed several test laptops from other manufactures of laptops in the same price range! I just have to say I loved the power and design, this laptop just rocks, period. The Chronos is going to be a tough competitor against several brands of laptops already in the running.

I really liked the smooth finish and soft touch keys, making this a very comfortable to use Samsung Series 7 laptop. The CD/DVD is very nice, and brilliant designed piece of perfection on the side of this system.

Samsung’s very cool Fast Start technology allows this Series 7 Chronos to load up and start when you need it to in under 3 seconds time, just close the lid when you need to run to the store for some milk, when you come back, just open it up and poof you’re right where you were before you left!

This is a very sleek business minded and student minded system. Comfortable and very detailed construction with a nice approach to doing something different, This Samsung 7 Chronos 700Z5A-S03 is well worth the price tag. If you are a busy business person or a college student looking for something that will last a long time, this is what you need.
